Kakatiya University signs MoU with International Naturopathy Library and Research Centre

Kakatiya University, Warangal, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Naturopathy Library and Research Centre, Hanamkonda, to promote research and academic collaboration in the field of naturopathy.According to the Vice Chancellor K. Pratap Reddy, the MoU aims to provide wide opportunities for research in various departments such as library science, arts, life sciences, physical education, yoga, and social sciences. The collaboration will enable students and researchers to utilise the resources of the International Naturopathy Library and Research Centre for their research work. The university library staff will also participate in activities like library classification and cataloging.Registrar V. Ramachandram highlighted that Kakatiya University is the first university among the 1,100 universities in the country to sign an agreement with the Naturopathy Library and Research Centre. He emphasised that this partnership would open up new avenues for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The university plans to organise seminars and conferences in coordination with both institutions, which will provide a platform for experts to share their knowledge and research findings.The International Naturopathy Library and Research Centre, founded by former professor Gajjala Rameshwaram, is a unique institution that has amassed a collection of thousands of books, magazines, and related literature on naturopathy. The library is of immense value to naturopathy practitioners and those interested in learning about the ancient system of healthy living.Prof. Rameshwaram said that he had set up the centre with his own funding. “I urge interested individuals to utilise this centre,” Prof. Rameshwaram said. The library houses rare literature, and visitors from other parts of the country and abroad also frequent the library.
