Los Angeles police just arrested Kevin Antonio Hernandez in connection with a violent road-rage attack against two reality TV stars in Hollywood. The frightening incident left Patrik Simpson and Pol’ Atteu, well-known from their show Gown and Out Beverly Hills and the Undressed podcast, shaken and seeking accountability. The shocking encounter unfolded at the busy intersection of Melrose Avenue and Vine Street. Simpson and Atteu were stopped in their vehicle when a Toyota 4Runner driver reportedly blocked their car. Per ABC 7 News, Patrik Simpson, who managed to record the terrifying ordeal, recounted the attacker’s demeanor. He said the man gave him “this death glare, like, literally, I thought he was going to kill us.” The duo explained that the 4Runner pulled up in front of them diagonally, from the wrong side of the road, trapping their car. The driver then exited his SUV and approached their driver’s side window with a frightening intensity. Pol’ Atteu, who was driving, confessed to being in sheer terror. “If this man is going back to the car, he’s going to get something… I’m dead. I’m literally… dead.” Their fear seemed justified by what followed The footage captured shows the man violently punching and kicking the window and door of their car. Simpson described the force of the blows, noting, “He punched the window… blood on the car. His hand was bleeding. That’s how hard he hit the car.” Luckily, the car’s window held, preventing the attacker from gaining entry. After his unsuccessful attempt to smash through the glass, the man returned to his 4Runner and quickly drove off. According to Nationwide Insurance, this kind of sudden, inexplicable rage on the road is becoming an increasingly common and worrisome trend. A recent survey highlights how driving in America feels less predictable and less trusted these days. Simpson explained that he “wanted the license plate because if we did not have the license plate, we would not be able to find this man, so we can make him be accountable for what he did.” The couple remains baffled by what could have possibly triggered such a violent outburst. Atteu speculated, “It’s got to be mistaken identity, because I don’t know who this person is. I don’t know where this person came from.” He also noted a surprising detail, mentioning that when he looked through the window, he could see someone in the passenger seat holding a baby.
