Christianity generally in all its forms has one materially-different thing, in my experience and study, from most other religious paths.It focuses and promises eternal life in Heaven -- with the possibility, through one's bad works, of instead winding up in Hell.Indeed the New Testament has several passages from Christ himself in the Gospels in which he makes explicit reference to Hell (including reference to the valley outside Jerusalem which was commonly used as a garbage dump.) But like most of what is in the Gospels it was more spoken of in parables than direct statements.Nonetheless Easter is the commemoration of when the Christian faith believes Christ bodily rose from the dead three days after being nailed to a tree at Golgotha.
