I worked for McDonald's in high school, back in the 80s. So the prehistoric era for some. We had a lady by the name of Nan. I'm not sure what Nan's disabilities were, but Nan did lobby during the weekday lunch rush (back when McDonald's had lunch rushes). She worked Monday thru Friday 11 AM to 2 PM. Filet O'Fish Fridays, she'd work the dinner rush too. In fact, she'd come in and work lobby whenever they thought she'd be needed (festival weekends, tournaments, etc). She was paid the going wage, given wages, vacation time and by the time I started working there, she'd been there for almost 20 years. So no, I'm not buying our beggar's argument that he can't get a job.
