Cole Palmer has said it was a ‘proud moment’ after captaining Chelsea for the first time.Palmer was named as captain in the absence of Reece James and Enzo Fernandez for Chelsea’s 7-0 win over Port Vale in the FA Cup quarter-finals.The 23-year-old expressed his delight at being captain for a ‘good afternoon’ for Chelsea.
