The Southern California vacation destination didn’t share any details about the maintenance project or indicate when the Pixar Pier attraction would reopen.The Disney California Adventure Park ride is now officially closed and listed as unavailable on the Disneyland Resort website and app. Disney encourages guests to “check back here for updates.”Potential Reopening TimelineThough Disneyland Resort hasn’t shared much about the Toy Story Midway Mania! refurbishment or indicated a construction timeline, several simultaneous happenings could impact the ride’s reopening.Credit: DisneyDisney installed Disneyland70 anniversary graphics and digital Easter eggs on the interactive shooter ride last year. Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebration officially concludes on August 9, so if Toy Story Midway Mania! remains closed until then, it’s possible that Disney is using this time to revert the ride to its normal state.Additionally, Toy Story 5 (2026) premieres on June 19, so Disney may be secretly adding references to the upcoming film to the Pixar Pier attraction.
