Mumbai's historic Elphinstone Road Overbridge is now history. Workers dismantled the 113-year-old British-era structure on Sunday. This marks the removal of five such bridges between CSMT and Kurla. The dismantling creates space for additional suburban lines. A new double-decker ROB will replace it. This upgrade aims to improve rail operations and commuter safety.
