Disney cast members poured new pavement in the area shortly thereafter, but another part of the walkway was still covered by plywood. Now, the plywood has been removed, and new pavement is visible in the area. This section of the walkway is still roped off and stanchioned as the pavement cures, but it should be open and accessible to Magic Kingdom Park guests soon. As summer approaches, Disney is likely prepping one of its busiest theme park thoroughfares for higher crowds and constant traffic.Over in Frontierland on the other side of the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort is busy building the new Piston Peak National Park area inspired by Cars (2006) and a brand-new Disney Villains land “beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.”Do any other Central Florida Disney Park areas need a pavement touch-up?
