They are on the record voting against the cleanest voter ID amendment possible.The Gateway Pundit reported,Senate Democrats on Thursday blocked a common-sense amendment that would have required voters to show a simple photo ID to cast a ballot.Despite Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s recent “pinky-promise” that Democrats aren’t actually opposed to ID requirements, his party voted in lockstep to kill the measure, according to CBS News.The amendment failed to reach the 60-vote threshold, dying in a 53 to 47 vote.
