On a serious note, I just underwent my first colonoscopy last month... and as I'd heard all the horror stories, I was truly nervous! But I made a point of following my mom's advice (to eat less for a few days prior to prep day) and so the elimination part was really not too bad! Honestly, the worst part was the after - for some reason, once I was knocked out, I was knocked out! They woke me to say the procedure was done, and I felt like I was at the bottom of the ocean or something. I managed to get myself together enough to go home (with my emergency contact driving, of course) and eat a quick sandwich. Then I passed out, sleeping the rest of the afternoon.
