Jett Harrison, the youngest son of NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr. is touted to also have a bright future in pro football. So instead of getting to big-headed about it, I stay humble and grateful for this opportunity.”Already standing at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, Harrison currently plays at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, and is one of just three five-stars early in this recruiting cycle. Some have even gone on to argue that he is already ahead of his older brother, Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., when he was at that age. This is something that the 23-year-old agrees with, having once said that younger brother Jett is “more talented than I ever was at that age.” As a freshman, he caught 10 touchdowns and led his high school to the PIAA 6A championship. In his sophomore season, he followed that up with 20 touchdowns in 2025, including a four-touchdown performance game against national powerhouse St. Frances Academy.“He is [effing] unbelievable,” St. Frances head coach Messay Hailemariam said, via On3’s Steve Wiltfong.“[Alabama five-star safety signee] Jireh Edwards said he played against some of the best and that Jett Harrison is going to be one of the best players to touch a high school football field.“He is completely the real deal. He runs routes really well. He will block. He will do what it takes to be in position. He’ll be a great decoy.“Our secondary was like that this past year and he literally made incredible catches in key situations. We know that ball was going to him and he still overcame it and we had a kid going to Auburn, Bama, a kid going to Ohio State and a kid currently committed to Texas A&M.”Harrison’s father Marvin Harrison Sr. spent 13 seasons in the NFL with the Colts.GettyTherefore, it comes as no surprise that Harrison – the No. 2 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite and No. 4 national recruit – has already drawn interest from some of the biggest collegiate programmes in the country. The teenager began receiving offers back in January 2025 from teams including the Duke Blue Devis, Tennessee Volunteers and Penn State Nittany Lions, despite only being in his junior year of high school.Family tiesAs of March, he has 13 offers already on the table, including Notre Dame and UNC, and Miami (Fl), with both his father and brother’s alma maters, Syracuse and Ohio State, also having concretely declared their interest in the teen phenom. “Harrison headlines what is an exceptional top of the wide receiver class early on in the 2028 cycle,” Charles Power, Rivals’ Director of Scouting and Rankings, said.“He is a technically advanced, hyper-polished receiver with an elite combination of ball skills and route-running ability.”“We saw him make a number of ridiculous contested catches as a sophomore, in addition to showing the ability to create separation at every level of the field …Harrison Jr was prolific during his time at Ohio State and now plys his trade in the NFL with the CardinalsGettyHarrison’s father (R) was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016Getty“Obviously, everyone knows about his NFL pedigree with his father being a Hall of Famer and his brother being a top-five pick.“At this point in the process, Jett is tracking ahead of where his brother was entering the junior season.”According to Rivals, Harrison is planning on visiting Ohio State this upcoming weekend as he seeks to get closer to making a decision over where he will play his college football. During his older brother’s three years with the Buckeyes, Harrison Jr. recorded 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns from 155 receptions, which saw him taken with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Buckeyes have built quite the reputation for developing star-caliber talent that make it to the NFL, with Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Terry McLaurin, Jameson Williams, and Emeka Egbuka just some of the names to have found success on the biggest stage in pro football. There’s also Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who fresh off winning a Super Bowl, penned a four-year, $168.6 million extension with the Seattle Seahawks to reset the receiver market.
