Chelsea have no plans to sack Liam Rosenior even if they do not qualify for the Champions League this season, talkSPORT understands.The Chelsea hierarchy are committed to giving Rosenior at least one full season in charge before carrying out any formal performance review.Chelsea plan to give Rosenior a full season in charge before considering his positionGettyRosenior was only appointed in January after Enzo Maresca’s acrimonious departure.The Blues’ have lost their last four games in all competitions and are currently in sixth place in the Premier League.Their 3-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday means Chelsea are six points adrift of the top four with seven matches of the season remaining.Another loss in their next league outing could see Rosenior’s side slip to eighth in the table behind Brentford and the Toffees.As for their trophy hopes this term, they host Port Vale in the FA Cup quarter-finals on April 4.That tie is followed by their next Premier League fixture at home to Manchester City eight days later.As well as their domestic woes, Chelsea were thrashed 8-2 on aggregate by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League earlier this month.The two legs of their crushing defeat came either side of a 1-0 home loss against Newcastle United.That result was followed by a 3-0 reverse in the second leg against PSG at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea were even urged to sack Rosenior at half-time by talkSPORT’s Rory Jennings during their loss to the French champions.More to follow.
