Maltese Ambassador Visits Maltese-Run Mercat Tramuntana In Mallorca

Malta’s Ambassador to Spain Emmanuel Mallia paid a visit to a Maltese-owned restaurant in Mallorca as part of an official outreach trip aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries.Emmanuel, accompanied by his wife Mrs Elena Codruța Mallia, travelled to the Balearic Islands where they met with regional officials, including industry and energy representatives, to discuss potential areas of collaboration, particularly in the field of hydrogen energy.The visit wasn’t just about formal meetings.During his time in Mallorca, the Ambassador also visited Mercat Tramuntana, a Maltese-run food hub set up by Lexy and Daniel Scicluna which celebrated it’s two year anniversary just a couple of weeks ago.The couple moved abroad to pursue their dream and established the café-deli in a scenic location beneath the Sierra de Tramuntana.
