Yuvadasara 2026 kicks off at MIT

The annual sports day ‘Yuvadasara 2026’ began at Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Thandavapura, Nanjangud taluk, on Saturday.Y.T. Krishne Gowda, principal of MIT and H.K. Chetan, secretary of the Maharaja Education Trust, were present at the inaugural event.Chaitra B., an international Kho-Kho player who is from Mysuru district, was invited as the chief guest. She hails from Kuruburu village in T. Narasipura taluk and is part of the 2025 International Kho-Kho championship’s winning team, a press release from MIT said.During the event, Ms. Chaithra shared her experiences with the students and spoke about the challenges she faced and the factors that contributed to her success.
