Had a friend get into that nonsense. Was a civil servant (was civil but more of a servant to the State than the public) so didn't need an additional job but went with him to a presentation (just the three of us: me, the rep and the mark). Once she realized I had no interest she wanted me to hand out flyers in my workplace. That is generally a no-no so I declined. A mutual friend went to one with him and walked out on her. it was all about recruitment and not actually selling. After a year my friend dropped out of it (he did retain his real job during this).
