The deal is valued at $29.1 billion, structured as $21.6 billion in cash plus 91.5 million Sysco shares, making it the largest acquisition in the company's history by a comfortable margin.Jetro threw off $1.9 billion in free cash flow last year on roughly $16 billion in revenue, and founder Nathan Kirsh kept it private long enough that nobody ever got to squeeze the margins for a quarterly earnings call.
