Malta’s Food Safety and Security Authority has issued a warning over a supplement known as “Dark Mamba”, urging the public not to consume it.The alert applies to all batches of the product and has been issued as a precaution, with authorities noting that the supplement has not been officially notified as a food supplement in Malta.In its statement, the authority reminded the public that supplements can come with risk, especially when taken unnecessarily or in excessive amounts.“Food supplements can cause unwanted side effects,” it said, adding that they are not a substitute for a balanced diet.
