Tokyu Resorts & Stays has announced that it will hold a physical event featuring Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons at its Tateshina resort. The event will run from mid-April to mid-July 2026.This event will let participants take part in nature-related challenges based on activities that they could do from the popular game available on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, such as fishing and making fire from wood. There will also be a DIY workshop to create items from knotweed plants. The organizers will also hold nighttime events, such as a stargazing tour and constellation quizzes.Even though the event takes place in a resort complex, people will also be able to participate without having to stay in a nearby hotel by purchasing a mission book that costs ¥800 (~$5).
