I know there is the idea that women value socail skills and bonds more, so in a business sense women may value networking events more, and are more likely to think they will get something out of simply meeting and having the chance to impress their peers. However I hope women in business, see this kind of thing for the dead end it really is. There will be "women in business" networking events, but this isnt that. As a guy all I can say is "no need to aplogise, I woud have passed on this anyways"
