My MIL has and always has had a heart rate in the 40’s (43 last time my sister-in-law was there and she checked, last week) She is about 3ft tall so I imagine her heart just doesn’t need to work that hard 🤣 She did have a heart attack and surgery last year but even though everything else was fine, the hospital wouldn’t let her leave because of it.
