A recent dinner at STK Steakhouse in Dallas, Texas, took a terrifying turn when a server’s attempt to create a fiery alcoholic drink left a man with severe burns on his lap. The dramatic event, which has now gone viral thanks to a TikTok video with over 1.3 million views, shows TikToker ICCOLD (@falenmoney) dining with her son and another guest. According to BroBible, a server was preparing a drink, pouring alcohol that had already been lit on fire into a plate of bubbles right in front of them. You can clearly see her son suddenly jump back, looking incredibly uncomfortable, as he holds his phone up, likely filming the scene himself. ICCOLD later revealed the full horror in her caption, writing, “My son got set on fire at STK steakhouse #Dallas looks like he poured it right in his lap cause how u miss the entire plate?? He was not happy and had 3rd degree burn.” While this is terrifying, it is super fun to order a dish with spectacle Fiery menu items, while certainly dramatic, have caused injuries before. After all, alcohol is super flammable, and once it’s lit, it can be incredibly difficult to put out, spreading flames quickly if it touches skin. Despite these inherent risks, many restaurants still feature these kinds of intentionally lit alcohol displays on their menus, probably for the sheer spectacle. After seeing the video and hearing about the injury, many viewers jumped into the comments. A third degree burn…. Absolutely not. He should be compensated for his medical bills, and pain and suffering.” She also provided an update on her son’s condition in a separate comment. She wrote, “He is ok now but he said he is not ordering that again.” Despite the scary incident, she noted that they still tried to make the best of it, adding, “Enjoying a great night with friends and family then this.
