State-owned ONGC has begun gas production from its Daman Upside Development Project in the Arabian Sea, a significant milestone achieved on March 29. The project, located off the coast of Gujarat, aims to produce 21.5 billion cubic meters of gas and is expected to reach peak production of around 5 million standard cubic meters per day.
