Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner threatened to arrest and prosecute federal ICE agents working at Philadelphia International Airport on Tuesday.Krasner held a press conference at the airport as ICE agents arrived to assist overwhelmed Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers. The deployment was ordered by President Trump to help ease long security lines and flight delays caused by severe staffing shortages at TSA checkpoints. The partial government shutdown, caused by Democrats refusing to budge on DHS funding, is now in its 39th day. It has left TSA officers working without pay, and reports of 3,200 agents not showing up for their shifts on Monday alone, and another 458 who recently quit.During his remarks, Krasner told reporters and the agents on site that he expects them to uphold the law while operating in Philadelphia.“This is how it works — you commit crimes within the jurisdiction that is the city and county of Philadelphia, I prosecute you,” Krasner said. “That is how it works. No, I don’t take a phone call from the president saying ‘Let em go.’ No, the president cannot pardon you. I’ll say it again, the president cannot pardon you.”Krasner escalated by bringing up the chaos caused by leftist agitators in Minneapolis, which resulted in two of them being killed during confrontations with agents.“And yes, I will put you in handcuffs, and I will put you in a courtroom, and if necessary, I will put you in a jail cell if you decide to make the terrazzo floor of this floor anything like you did in the streets of Minneapolis, which involved the criminal homicide of unarmed, innocent people.”WATCH:Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner threatens ICE agents at the airport with arrest and prosecution, wrongly accuses them of violent crimes, compliments them, then threatens to see them in court. This deranged demonization of American patriots helping travelers is completely insane. pic.twitter.com/yq55fbCX2Z— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) March 25, 2026Krasner doubled down in a video posted to X, stating: “To anyone who is an ICE agent, thank you for upholding the law and the Constitution of the United States. But if you don’t, you’re gonna find out.”WATCH:My message to ICE agents deployed at PHL Airport: Don’t break the law, or you’re going to find out. pic.twitter.com/92gfxdl6aI— Larry Krasner (@LarryKrasnerDA) March 25, 2026The ICE assistance at Philadelphia International Airport, part of a nationwide effort at 14 major hubs, has already been credited with reducing wait times, with some travelers describing the unmasked agents as professional, friendly, and helpful.President Trump had specifically directed the agents not to wear masks while assisting TSA in order to speed up processing. The post Philly DA Larry Krasner Threatens to Handcuff and Jail ICE Agents Working at Philadelphia Airport: ‘The President Cannot Pardon You!’ (VIDEO) appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
