Full-time | RemoteWe are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join a stable, forward-thinking US product company in the events analytics space.This role is for a next-generation backend engineer — someone who combines strong .NET/Azure fundamentals with active, thoughtful use of modern AI tools to increase engineering velocity and help the team evolve their development practices.You’ll work on a scalable analytics platform used by event organizers to make data-driven decisions, solving complex data, performance, and reliability challenges in Azure.What You’ll DoDesign, build, and optimize backend services and APIs powering the Bear IQ analytics platform.Develop clean, testable, and maintainable code using .NET Core / C#, with a strong focus on quality and observability.Build and operate scalable, resilient solutions in Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage).Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Codex) as part of your daily workflow to accelerate development, refactoring, and system design — with clear verification and review practices.Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and data teams from discovery through delivery.Help improve development workflows, CI/CD, and engineering practices — including sharing effective AI workflows with the team.Take ownership of production systems: performance, reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.What You’ll Need5+ years of experience building and owning backend services with .NET Core / C#.Strong experience with SQL and data modeling, performance tuning, and scalable APIs.Hands-on experience with Azure (Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Application Insights).Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable backend systems.Daily practical experience using AI tools in software development (for coding, refactoring, testing, design), with an understanding of their strengths and limitations.Nice to Have Experience with analytics or data-heavy SaaS products.Elasticsearch or similar search technologies.Experience with Azure OpenAI / LLM-based features.Background in distributed systems, background jobs, or message processing (e.g., Hangfire).Experience mentoring engineers or helping teams adopt new workflows — especially AI-assisted development.Project tech stack:• Back-End: .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, Hangfire• Cloud Services: Azure OpenAI, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Application Insights• Search: Elasticsearch• Infrastructure & Delivery: Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, CI/CD pipelinesIf you are proactive, ready to take ownership, and see yourself thriving in this role, we would be happy to review your application!Відгукнутись на вакансію
