Square Enix announced it will end service of the Japanese version of War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius on May 28, 2026. It launched in November 2019. The worldwide version of the already closed in May 2025.Square Enix announced the news on its official website and social media accounts. In the messages, the company thanked players for all of their support over the years, as well as apologized for the sudden end. The statement on the website explained that since launching the game, the developers tried to deliver as good of a product as they could. However, it didn't believe that it can create a game that would satisfy customers anymore, which is why it decided to shut the game down.You will no longer be able to buy any premium currency in the game. However, if you already have some, you can continue to use that until the game goes offline. If the game ends with you still having premium currency left over, you will be eligible for a refund.War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a tactical role-playing game that was a spin-off of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
