Saturday marked a good performance for Christian Pulisic and a positive result for AC Milan.Pulisic assisted once on Saturday as the Rossoneri defeated Torino 3-2 in Serie A play. The U.S. men’s national team attacker earned SBI Americans Abroad Player of the Week honors as he ended his lengthy goal contribution drought at club level. After the two clubs were level 1-1 after 45 minutes, Pulisic helped the Rossoneri grab hold of the match in the second half. Pulisic teed up Adrien Rabiot for Milan’s 2-1 go-ahead goal before Youssouf Fofana extended the hosts lead only two minutes later. Although it wasn’t a memorable Pulisic outing, it should do him wonders after he registered his first goal contribution. The USMNT star will now head into international duty, leading the Americans into a pair of friendlies against Portugal and Belgium. Tillman scored his seventh goal of the season in all competitions as Bayer Leverkusen drew FC Heidenheim 3-3 in league play. The American attacker opened the scoring, ending his 10-match goal-less drought in all competitions. He will now head into USMNT duty seeking to deliver a strong window. Folarin BalogunFolarin Balogun is heading into USMNT camp on a terrific run of form. Balogun’s second-half penalty kick helped AS Monaco down Lyon 2-1 away from home on Sunday, continuing a common theme for the American this year. The 24-year-old scored for the fourth-straight match and in his sixth out of his last seven overall as Monaco jumped up to fifth place. Balogun will lead Mauricio Pochettino’s line this month, looking to carry his club goals over to the international level. Rokas Pukstas It was a strong weekend for Rokas Pukstas and Hajduk Split. Pukstas scored his ninth goal of the season as Hajduk Split routed Vukovar 6-0 in Croatian league action. The American midfielder delivered a positive 73 minutes, creating three offensive chances, registering four shots on target, and winning eight duels from his attacking position. With nine matches to go and Hajduk Split sitting 10 points back of league-leading Dinamo Zagreb, there’s still plenty to play for this spring. Sam Coffey Manchester City returned to winning ways on Saturday in WSL play. Sam Coffey was a major reason for it, delivering a strong 90 minutes in a 5-2 victory over Tottenham. The U.S. women’s national team midfielder won five duels, made 10 defensive recoveries, and completing 98% of her passes (49/50).
