Yes it was, the reason it was so expensive is the commuter train is much more expensive than subways and buses especially going as far down the line as I had to. I was only making $12/hour so it was a huge chunk of my income especially with the am ubers but it also meant my rent was dirt cheap. As soon as I could I bought a $1200 car which ran better than you would expect for such a cheap price.
