An Iran-linked hacking group, Handala Hack Team, claims it breached FBI Director Kash Patel’s personal email account and leaked emails, photos, and documents online. The hackers allegedly released content including resumes, personal images, and correspondence spanning 2010–2019, while asserting Patel was added to their “successfully hacked” list. Handala, described as a pro-Palestinian hacktivist group linked by researchers to Iranian cyber operations, has also been tied to other recent cyber incidents.
