Bandai Namco announced it will release a The Ring Sadako prize figure in Japan as part of its Banpresto brand, and it will be able to be “removed” from the TV monitor included with it. As a result, she can be posed in positions that make it look like she’s emerging from other places in your home. It will launch in Japanese arcades in August 2026. There’s no worldwide release confirmation or launch window yet, but the company does tend to sell these prize figures worldwide after their launch via the official Amazon storefront. This is a bust that only includes the upper part of Sadako. So all we see clearly is her grasping right hand and arm, her left arm that’s supporting her as she crawls toward us, and her hair-covered head. Her face isn’t visible, and her black hair acts as a stand to support her. The entire back of her body past her shoulders is still on the other side of the included TV monitor. The included photos show the full figure with the flat-screen attached from different angles, then two additional photos that show what it would look like if you posed her as though she’s emerging from a tablet or crawling out from futon covers. Here are the first photos of the new figure:Images via Bandai NamcoWe’ve seen a lot of figures of Sadako following the original novel and subsequent movies and games based on the series.
