Moorhead tops GoffsGo Late March Sale

Point-to-pointer Moorhead sold for £24,000to New Vision Bloodstock and Paul Drury at the GoffsGo Late March Sale which ended on Thursday.The son of Arrigo (lot 13) was consigned by Hill House Stud. He ran second on debut in a Larkhill point-to-point earlier this month and is from the family of listed winner Without Limites (Martaline).A trio of horses brought £12,500 apiece: Panama Black (Tamayuz) (lot 10), Leader Wing (Wings Of Eagles) (lot 11) and Cuillin Ridge (Schiaparelli) (lot 14). The first-named horse was snapped up by Laura Mongan from Manton Lodge Stables. Leader Wing caught the eye of Ryan Mahon and Dan Skelton Racing as part of Gillian Boanas Racing. Rounding out the trio, Cuillin Ridge, offered by Downton Hall Stables, sold to Susan Corbett Racing.Overall, nine horses sold (64%) from 14 offered for a gross of £91,500. The average was £10,167 and the median was £8,500.Goffs Group chief executive, Henry Beeby said, “We are committed to seeing GoffsGo continue to grow in the online marketplace and the Late March Sale continued the platform's regular sales since the start of the year.
