A Class 8 student died on the spot after he was hit by a car while returning home from school after writing his annual examination on Saturday.Chiranth Gowda, 15, son of Radhakrishna of Kamasumdra, was studying at the government high school at Halekote in Holenarasipur.He would go to school every day by KSRTC bus. He returned by bus to Kamasamudra, where he lived with his family, on Saturday at around 11.30 a.m. While crossing the Hassan-Mysuru Road to reach his house, a car travelling from Hassan hit him.
