The 18th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine announced that a new manga by Hideaki Sorachi, 2-nen B-gumi Yuusha Destroyers (Hero Destroyers of Class 2B), will begin in the 21st issue on April 20. This marks Sorachi's first serialization in seven years after the end of Gintama in 2019. Sorachi serialized Gintama in Weekly Shounen Jump from December 2003 to September 2018.
