The company is now expanding this system nationwide.Afternoon reservations for Mondays to be piloted as wellSamsung has announced that customers will be able to take advantage of the reservation service at all service centers across South Korea starting April 1. This facility was previously offered only at select service centers. Customers can make an appointment to get support for their mobile phones, tablets, and wearable devices at a pre-determined slot. This helps save time as they don't have to wait endlessly at a service center for their turn. The pilot test results had shown that customers appreciated having the ability to reserve their time slots. The number of people utilizing the service increased by 50% just this month alone, compared to the initial phase. Customer satisfaction rates were also higher among customers who had visited with a reserved time slot.Customers in South Korea can make a reservation through the Samsung Electronics Service website or via the contact center. The reservations have to be made in advance as same-day slots are not available. Reservations are currently not taken for Mondays as that's when many customers visit the centers in person. However, the centers that had previously ran the pilot program for this service will soon pilot afternoon reservations for Mondays as well.
