Eminent writer Kuppli Padma received the K.N.Y.Patanajli award from the KNY Patanjali Samskrutika Vedika founder Bhisetti Babji and its secretary N. K. Babu at a function in Vizianagaram on Sunday.Senior writer Mohammed Khadeer Babu, singer and writer Alti Mohana Rao attended the award function and lauded Ms. Padma’s literary contribution to society.Ms. Padma said that it was a great honour for her to receive the award in Vizianagaram which has produced many great writers such as Gurajada Apparao, Chaganti Somayajulu and others. She vowed to awaken people through her writings while suggesting budding writers to focus on women’s socio-economic issues. The members of Samskrutika Vedika D. Srihari Raju, K.
