The Malta Tennis & Padel Federation has picked up two major awards in the space of just two months, capping off a strong start to 2026 and putting the spotlight firmly on the sport locally.The latest came in Poland at the Tennis Europe AGM, where the federation was recognised by the ITF for its progress in developing tennis. Just weeks earlier, it had already been honoured at the Sport Malta Celebrating Sport Conference for its work alongside Sport Malta on a top-level sporting facility.That facility, the new National Tennis Centre, is set to open in the coming days, giving Maltese tennis and padel a major boost with a state-of-the-art home.“It’s a huge honour for us.
