I went to Boksburg High School. Apparently its a really high demand school but back when I went there in 04/05 with Mr DuPlessis as the principal... it was a very very very tough environment to be in. Some of the rules included no carrying bags on your back - you needed to have a plastic Bantex suitcase which always broke. One year (2005) they introduced Behaviour Modification Period or BMP and split the school up into 2 - Junior High School and Senior High School. One day the Principal went absolutely psycho at a group of students and pulled the whole junior school into the main quad to berate us and then make us sing the school song. Having gone to a school like this. Do you guys feel any sort of more responsible with regards to day to day life or did you learn more outside of school than inside school? submitted by /u/One_Reference1143 [link] [comments]
