The Punjab and Haryana High Court has acquitted AAP MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura and seven others. They were convicted in a 2013 molestation and assault case. The court allowed a petition following a compromise between the parties. The FIR registered in 2013 under IPC and SC/ST Act has been quashed. The complainant woman and the accused reached an amicable resolution.
