Everyone talks about Jerome Kaino as the standard for every AB No.6 but everyone forgets just how much of a colossus Jerry Collins was, he was a one-man band in a poor Hurricanes outfit for years. He was basically Ardie (genetically) with an extra 9 kgs but with a much greater defensive presence. Collins was more talented than Kaino, he just left NZ with 49 caps at only 26, so we never got to see much of his peak years at All Black level.
