Samsung Electronics has teamed up with British Gas, one of the leading energy suppliers in the United Kingdom, to offer a special energy tariff for customers who own eligible Samsung appliances.This is the first of its kind deal in the UK, where an appliance company and an energy provider have joined forces to provide an exclusive tariff to customers. The deal has been announced in time for the winter which typically brings with it higher energy bills. Even Samsung's mobile devices are eligibleCurrent and new owners of eligible Samsung appliances can apply for an exclusive fixed British Gas tariff called the Samsung Weekend Saver Fix. It will provide them with additional half-price electricity hours between 11am to 4pm on Saturdays.A promotion has also been introduced as part of this deal. British Gas customers who sign up for this tariff will also have a chance to win free energy for one year for the household, which amounts to £1,755 in savings. This can be a huge help for customers as they can schedule tasks like doing the laundry or vacuuming when they know they'll be paying a much lower rate for electricity.Those who sign up for this will need to have a smart electricity credit meter, a Samsung Account, and must own or buy an eligible product before October 31, 2026. The eligible Samsung devices include all washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, vacuums, and more. It's even available on selected mobile devices like Galaxy phones, tablets, TVs, gaming monitors, and more.
