Former Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh hailed TGV Kalakshetram for promoting arts and artists through various cultural activities and finding a place in the Telugu Book of Records thrice in one year.Telugu Book of World Records chairman Dr. Chanubatla Venkatachari on Thursday (November 06, 2025) felicitated Mr. Venkatesh, who is the chairman of TGV Kalakshetram, on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venkatesh said that they have been encouraging and supporting arts and artists by organising various performances across the Telugu States. “The Kalakshetram is preserving and bringing back to life art forms that are losing their sheen in the modern times,” he said.Mr. Venkatesh said that the TGV Kalakshetram had found a place for the first time in the Telugu Book of World Records when it organised a 48-hour non-stop performance of film songs of former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao on the occasion of the latter’s 101st birth anniversary celebrations. The second time was for organising a non-stop mono action with 80 artists and the third time for organising cultural programmes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. continuously for one week on the occasion of A.P.
