President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday took his ongoing campaign to Bududa District, urging residents to continue supporting the National Resistance Movement (NRM) for its proven track record of delivering tangible results.Addressing a rally alongside the NRM leadership, President Museveni said the achievements of the Movement are clearly visible in Bududa, particularly in infrastructure development and household wealth creation.“In Bududa, the work is visible. The Mbale–Bumbobi–Bubulo–Lwakhakha road is complete, and funds are now available to finish the Bubulo–Namisindwa–Bududa circular road,” Museveni noted, emphasizing that improved road networks are transforming trade and connectivity in the region. The President also commended the success of the Parish Development Model (PDM), which he said has empowered residents to become suppliers of beef and cattle to eastern Uganda and even Kampala. “The District Chairman testified that through PDM, the people of Bududa are now suppliers of beef and cows… a clear sign that wealth creation at the household level is taking root,” Museveni said.He called on citizens to safeguard the progress made under the NRM government and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening all wealth creation initiatives to ensure every Ugandan household joins the money economy.“Mwanyaala naabi, Bududa!” he concluded, greeting the crowd warmly in the local language.President Museveni’s message in Bududa continues his campaign focus on showcasing the NRM’s achievements and promoting economic transformation across the country. The post Museveni Rallies Support In Bududa, Highlights NRM’s Development Gains appeared first on The Insider.
