Yeah, you "feeling bad" is what she's counting on to wear you down so she can start pestering you for rides, grocery money, or whatever other things she thinks you're "not using". Stop feeling bad for her. She's probably just making stuff up to get you to feel sorry for her and give her free things and free help in the future. She's just a mooch. The clapbacks are fun to think about, but you're better off just icing her out. If she texts you, don't respond for at least 24 hours like someone here said. Every time she texts, add another 24 hours onto that. Better yet, just block her. I'd get a door camera too, just in case. Honestly, being neighbors isn't nearly a good enough reason for her to even have your number, you're still strangers! Block her everywhere and don't give your number out in the future.
