In isekai anime series, a common trope is that the lead character ends up in another world after being hit by a car, and Strange Scaffold announced its new game Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World will play with that idea. It is in development for the Xbox Series X and PCs before 2026 ends, though there’s no exact launch date yet. The Steam page is live. Rather than play as the woman who got hit by Truck-kun and sent to another world where she is now a hero, this isekai game has us playing as the truck that did it. We’re tasked with plowing into other people, vehicles, and items to power up and send enemies for Carissa, the former marketing VP and current elven warrior we hit at the start of the game, to fight. As we do, she’ll get stronger and closer to defeating the Skeleton King big boss so she can revive with the Scroll of Resurrection in her home world. As we drive and take on delivery tasks, missions, and hit people, we’ll see a glimpse into Carissa’s adventures in the other world in a box at the bottom of the screen. We can see how our hitting things is helping her find enemies to fight and get strong enough to defeat them, and filling up the sword gauge above that window to another world seems to give her the power to unleash a flurry of attacks. Here’s the first trailer for Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World. You can also see the first screenshots from the isekai game that shows what it’s like driving a truck and how driving it helps the heroine below. Images via Strange Scaffold This will be the second Strange Scaffold game to appear in 2026. The first was Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator. That is a stock market simulation in which you bet on alien babies’ lives to make money. Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World will come to the Xbox Series X and PC in 2026.
