Bullish On UnityUnity Software, Inc.BATS:UBrotank77As a long time user of Unity and Unreal Engine, I got to say (as both a user and investor), I still really like Unity. The stock has taken a hit with all the buzz around AI and the speculation that AI will be the future of making games. I do agree that AI is a benefit to the video game industry, but there are some struggles I have dealt with trying to build games only with an AI "engine" like base44, Replit, etc, and that complete control. Leaving game design completely to the AI, makes it tough to push out a quality Steam game. Unity provides a user friendly interface for users to create a game, and this is greatly complimented by AI (such as hooking up Claude Code right into Unity) which can modify your scripts, write your scripts, all in the unity editor, and understand your entire project. This has drastically improved my workflow, giving me complete control and allowing me to leverage AI to make the game in my vision.
