/u/CrunchyTeatime on Don’t you dare questioning me ! Just give me give me give me

Wait 5 sec.

But again - people are inserting things I never said. I said nothing about "before one is ready" (no one's ever completely ready btw, but i didn't broach that because it's not pertinent to my response to the one who interjected that the poor "should stop pumping out crotch goblins." We have nothing to base any accusations or presumptions that this woman in this post, is irresponsible or unprepared. I think her friend asked for help with various things - the woman might not even know about it, for all I or we know. There are reasons people can fall onto hard times or move quickly. To say that they should then abort, as at least one person was honest enough to say flat out is how they feel, is not anyone else's place to "demand" - to use the other person's accusation at me. I included the phrase other people for a specific reason. (I wanted to see how far others believe their assertion should go. I also, again, wanted to be fair and not presume what the person meant by that - but frankly it's fairly clear, on face value.) Again I was speaking to the topic since that is why we're here, and someone interjected that the poor flat out should not have children - or that's how I took it, so I questioned them (with one line of text) to gently (I thought) see if I was being unfair to interpret it that way. I didn't want to think that's still a thing here. Without even knowing this woman, people are saying she should not have more children, when the fact is, much of the world lives at poverty level. Which ones do some here want to get rid of, first? Because that's where this goes. If people cannot work or are poor, or any other reason - it quickly gathers more excuses as it rolls downhill - if society asserts they should not have children, whether by sterilization or termination - that will include a lot of things. People might then find that the same society applies such mandates to themselves or their loved ones, as well. People are not looking at where their philosophy or 'in an ideal world no baby would be born into poverty' meets with its practical application. A society in which no one can (be allowed to) have children if they are poor should terrify anybody. Again 'what should other people be told' (to do), is vital in understanding what I actually said. How much simpler is it to just simply not give material help if you are not feeling the request.
