I'd place my bet on "weaponized incompetence" which seems to have been a game men knew about instinctively (I have even seen little boys do so), and women (including me) are only now catching onto, due to the internet confessions/seminars for men which leaked. There's been a lot of women watching their male partner or relative be good at so many things and then suddenly be unable to load a dishwasher, or who makes things worse, until she does it herself, in exasperation. I think that since those are people who are deliberately making women's lives miserable, there should be some consequence for it. I guess 4 B and such are that.
