Yeah, it's very frustrating to witness. Story time. My daughter is 5. We've become casual friends with her bestie's parents, who are a bit younger than us, and less mature. We make good money, but financial pressures among other factors made us decide we wanted to stick with just one kid. They have used government assistance since having their first. You know what, zero judgement because that can be something you work out of. But since then they've had 2 more kids. The wife has turned down promotion opportunities to keep gov benefits. And she's dying to have a 4th... the way she talks about it's clear she's just baby crazy. The husband wants to wait but I don't think she's going to. It gives trashy vibes. They're in an apartment now, but want to get a house. No idea how that's supposed to happen, but good for them if they can do it. Maybe they'll get some family help. We live in one of the less expensive areas in a state that's become pretty expensive over the years(Utah). The town used to apparently be pretty rough(for Utah, lol), but is really a great place to be nowadays. Just still very blue collar. My wife has sent her some ads of houses up here that are reasonably priced. But she's resistant to look at any because she doesn't want to live in our "run down" town. Like, biiiiiiitchhhhh, you can't even afford to live in our town without help. Don't you even try to be talking shit. Absolute trashy choosy-beggar attitude.
