Wait 5 sec.

I encountered this once. At the time I was 18 and my younger sister was 10, and we'd gone to this woman's house as a favor to our mother just to get a paper signed. Then she started in: "Can you take me to Store so I can do a return?" She was an elderly woman who walked with a cane, so I figured that we could be helpful. Then she wanted to go to the bank. Then the grocery store. Then, after we (me and younger sister) brought her and her groceries back to her place and carried them in for her we got, "Well? You can't expect me to put all those groceries away all by myself!" So we did. When she called my sister "stupid" for putting something into the refrigerator instead of the cupboard that's when I put my foot down and said, "We're leaving." I'd told her I couldn't take a lot of time because I had an evening class to get to, and if I wasted much more time I'd be late since I had to drop my sister off before going to my class. On the way home I told my sister to be sure to tell our mother exactly what happened, because I didn't put it past this woman to call my mother and complain about how rude we were. Later when I got home from my class my mother told me that the woman had indeed called her and told her about how rude we were and how we refused to help her, but my mother had told her, "I know my daughters better than that." Also, knowing my mother, I'm sure she gave this woman a substantial piece of her mind. Wish I'd been home to hear it.
