"My daughter, I'm going to spend a lot of time with her because I spent the first 11 years of her life— or 12, whenever this s--t is over, 13— being away from her. My youngest son is in college."My family deserves all my time. And then, me. I deserve my time, too. Because I've dedicated to this sport for so long that I'll be happy as f--k when it's all done to get the f--k away and give myself some grace."This story will be updated. More NBA news: Steve Kerr leaves door open for Warriors return with latest commentsMinnesota Timberwolves lose key contributor for rest of playoffs due to major injuryWhy the Knicks could try to trade Karl-Anthony Towns over the offseasonNew report casts major doubt on Steve Kerr's future with Golden State WarriorsAdam Silver drops major hint about LeBron James' NBA futureENJOYED THIS STORY?Add Sporting News as a preferred source on Google to see more of our reportingAdd as preferred source on GoogleMichael Kaskey-BlomainMichael Kaskey-Blomain is a freelance writer with The Sporting News.
