Five schools, 69 students from T.N. get road safety awards - The HinduPublished - May 03, 2026 12:20 am IST - ChennaiFive institutions in Tamil Nadu received awards and 69 students were recognised as Olympiad winners at the National Road Safety Education Excellence Awards 2025-26. A total of 134 schools from the State, including Chennai, participated. Several schools from the State were named top performers, while select institutions received special recognition, a release said. The National Road Safety Mission, launched in 2024, has reached over 5,000 schools across 35 States and Union Territories, engaging more than 2.2 million students, it said.
